Description:
Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service had its origin in 1900 when the Davis Undertaking Parlor was opened at 123 West Main St. by William Davis. In 1946, H. H. Dokken brought in two partners, Howard I. Nelson and Roderick M. Kippen, and the business name was changed to Dokken-Nelson and Kippen Funeral Service. Mr Kippen left the business in 1954, and the business name changed to Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service. Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service was added to the Montana National Register of Historic Places on December 21, 1987.
