Hardin, MT is located approximately 48 miles east of Billings-Montana's largest city. In the 1880's and 1890's the area around Hardin was settled by cattle ranchers. In 1906 the town of Hardin was officially founded. Hardin is rich in history and attracts many visitors with the Little Big Horn Battlefield, Crow Fair, the Big Horn River, Yellowtail Dam, and the Big Horn County Museum.
