The Crow Reservation is home to the Crow Tribe - called "Apsaalooke," which means "children of the large-beaked bird." White men later misinterpreted the word as "crow." The reservation is in southcentral Montana, bordered by Wyoming on the south, with its northwestern boundary about 10 miles from Billings. We recommend gaining permission to film in Crow Nation from their tribal council by scheduling a meeting with them.
