Description
My name is Conor Manley, and I am a filmmaker living in Missoula, MT. I was born and raised in Seattle, WA, and moved to Missoula in 2020 to attend the University of Montana. I recently graduated from the University of Montana with a BFA in Media Arts with a concentration in Digital Filmmaking. I am an experienced production assistant and video editor, and I am always looking for ways to develop my skills.
Special Skills & Experience
Adobe Premiere Pro - I have hundreds of hours editing and producing videos using Adobe Premiere Pro. I used the program for every film that I made during my time at the University of Montana. I also used the program for every video and social media post I created as a Creative Strategy Intern for Artifact Intelligence Inc. It is my primary editing software, and I use it for many of my video editing purposes, including cuts, corrections, graphics, and transitions.
Adobe After Effects - I use Adobe After Effects for more technical graphics, creations, animations, and transitions. I used Adobe After Effects to create an animated logo splash for Artifact Intelligence Inc., as well as for an animated logo splash for my personal film reel. I also use After Effects for most graphics I create that require multiple moving parts or 3D components.
Adobe Photoshop - I used Adobe Photoshop for many of my social media accounts, both for Artifact Intelligence Inc., as well as for my personal Social Media Accounts.
Ableton Live - I have always used Ableton Live for music production and audio recording, and editing. Since beginning to work in the film industry, I have even used it for sound mixing and mastering, as well as for creating music and sound effects for films.
Art Production Assistant - I worked as a Production Assistant for the Art Department on the set of "St. George", a film produced by Story House Pictures Inc. For this job, I sourced, purchased, and delivered props, furniture, and materials that were used throughout the production of the film. I also helped construct entire sets from scratch. This process involved furnishing an entire house, constructing a jail cell, painting, building sets, arranging and rearranging furniture, and much, much more. I was also helped out with the Props department for the film, working on-set to rearrange props and furniture as shots were taking place.
Director - I directed all of my own student films and videos, which are all available to watch on my YouTube Channel listed above.
