As an archival producer, I can help find the historical material (photos, moving images, documents, books, ect.) you need to create your documentary and tell the story you want.
I studied history at a graduate level and am familiar with navigating archives, libraries and other places that store archival material. I have experience with two films that are currently in production. I can help find material that can make your film unique and cutting edge. The majority of archival material has not been digitized, which means one has to visit the archive! This is where the fun begins. There is a vast number of resources available in Montana's archives that can be used to set your film apart from others. My role would be to discover what that material is and make it assessable for you. Archives can seem intimidating, but my skill would be to demystify them and help you use them to tell the story you want.
