Ryan Graham-Laughlin is a Sound Mixer, Sound Designer, Boom Operator, Director and Assistant Director based out of Missoula, Montana. He owns ands operates RGL Productions, which specializes in sound and video production statewide.
Sound mixing, boom operator, sound editing. Graduated in the spring of 2018 with a Bachelor's in Filmmaking from the University of Montana. I have mixed sound for a number of features across the state of Montana since 2017, including We Burn Like This (Alana Waksman, 2019), Sooyii (Kristian Kerry, 2020) and Butcher's Crossing (Gabe Polsky, 2022), Broke (Carlyle Uebanks, 2023). I can work and operate efficiently in extreme conditions and locations, while exceeding the creative expectations of the director.Directing, assistant directing. I directed my first short film in 2018, Zero Point, which premiered at the Montana Film Festival in 2020 and won Audience Choice Award at the Big Fork Film Festival in 2020. In September of 2022, I assistant directed my first feature film, Cuisine de la 'Pocalypse (Kyle Weingart), which will premiere in the spring of 2024. My awareness of story and creativity while maintaining a steady and successful production flow is one of my strongest skillsets. As an AD, I believe making making strong connections with the cast/crew is one of the best ways to enhance work flow and productivity.
